Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for quick and efficient assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, this shelving unit features 8 adjustable shelves. Each shelf is designed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and is stamped on the top left corner for easy identification. Class 0 shelves are crafted from cold rolled sheet steel and possess roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, with return bends resistance welded to the underside for added stability. Welds are spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum strength, and the sides are triple flanged to form a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded to create a rigid corner, enhancing the overall strength of the shelf. The top surface is punched to accommodate shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are perforated for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is specifically designed to shield against impact loads, allowing for uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
