Hallowell® Hi-Tech shelving is engineered for rapid assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to meet specific shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving kit includes 6 adjustable shelves with features such as two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edge, stamped in the top left corner for identification. The Class 2 shelves are fabricated from extra heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, with return bends resistance welded to the underside for enhanced strength. Welds are spaced 3" on center, maximizing structural integrity. The sides have a triple flanged design creating a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added durability. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers front and back for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is engineered to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 1,200 pounds.
