Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered to meet the demands of industrial applications while offering the versatility necessary for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring durability and long-term integrity for daily use. The free-standing shelving features a design that allows for fast and easy assembly and installation. Each shelf is crafted with formed ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and includes identification stamping on the top left corner. Class 0 shelves are made from cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges, featuring return bends that are resistance welded to the underside for enhanced strength. Welds are placed 3 inches on center for maximum durability, and the sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All corners are lapped and resistance welded, ensuring a rigid structure and added strength. The top surface is punched to accommodate shelf dividers on 1-1/2 inch centers for 36" wide with depths of 12", 15", 18", and 24", while other sizes are punched on 3-inch centers. Additionally, both front and rear surfaces are designed for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge provides protection against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
