Hallowell® Hi-Tech shelving is engineered for swift assembly and installation, offered in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves tailored to meet specific shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the unit features 8 adjustable shelves, each formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and stamped on the top left corner for easy identification. The Class 1 shelves are made from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges with return bends, and resistance welded to the underside at 3" centers for enhanced strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and the corners are lapped and resistance welded to ensure rigidity and bolster the shelf's overall strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachments, while the tubular front edge is designed to absorb impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
