Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving solution engineered to meet the demands of industrial applications while providing the versatility required for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, designed for quick assembly and installation. The shelves feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamped on the top left corner. Class 1 shelves are made from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside, with welds spaced 3" on center for enhanced strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and the corners are lapped and resistance welded for additional rigidity. The top surface is punched for shelf dividers, accommodating 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves on 1-1/2" centers, while other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
