Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered for industrial applications, crafted to sustain daily use without compromising integrity. The free standing units are constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, featuring a design that facilitates rapid assembly and installation. The Class 1 shelves are made from heavy gauge steel with roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges, incorporating resistance welded return bends on the underside for enhanced support. Weld spacing is 3" on center to optimize strength, and side flanges form a channel for stability. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded to reinforce the structure. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachments, and the tubular front edge provides protection against impact loads. This shelving can accommodate uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
