Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered for industrial applications, offering the strength and versatility required for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, facilitating easy assembly and installation. The shelves feature formed ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and are stamped in the top left corner for identification. Class 1 shelves are made from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges, incorporating return bends that are resistance welded to the underside of the shelf. Weld spacing is 3" on center to maximize strength, and the sides are triple flanged to create a channel for added support. The corners are lapped and resistance welded, ensuring a rigid and sturdy construction. The top surface is punched to accommodate shelf dividers spaced every 1-1/2" on centers for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep; all other sizes have punch holes on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachments, while the tubular front edge protects against impact loads, allowing for uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
