Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving features 6 adjustable shelves formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, which include return bends that are resistance welded to the underside of the shelf. Welds are spaced 3" on center for maximum strength, while the sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers at the front and back for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18" and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, accommodating uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
