Hallowell® Hi-Tech® free standing shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. The adjustable medium duty shelves feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are made from cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges and return bends resistance welded to the underside for added strength, featuring welds spaced 3" on center. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for rigidity and durability. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
