Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the system includes 8 adjustable shelves, each formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, stamped on the top left corner for identification. The Class 0 shelves feature roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends resistance welded to the underside, ensuring maximum strength with welds spaced 3" on center. The triple flanged sides create a channel for added stability, while lapped and resistance welded corners enhance the rigidity and strength of the shelves. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
