Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation. This shelving solution is available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. It is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel and includes 8 adjustable shelves. The shelves feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel and have roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends resistance welded to the underside of the shelf, with welds spaced 3 inches on center to provide maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to ensure a rigid corner and enhance the shelf's strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2 inches centers, front and back, for 36 inches wide x 12, 15, 18, and 24 inches deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3 inches centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories. The tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads and is rated for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
