Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, it features 8 adjustable shelves formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel and possess roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends resistance welded to the underside, with welds spaced 3" on center to provide maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while other sizes are punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
