Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for fast and straightforward assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the system features 8 adjustable shelves, formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and stamped on the top left corner for easy identification. Class 0 shelves, also made from cold rolled sheet steel, have roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside of the shelf at 3" on center for enhanced strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while other sizes feature 3" center punch points. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, accommodating uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
