Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is expertly engineered for rapid and straightforward assembly and installation, featuring open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to meet specific shelving capacity demands. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the system includes 8 adjustable shelves. Each shelf is formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and is stamped in the top left corner for easy identification. Class 0 shelves are crafted from cold rolled sheet steel and exhibit roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside for enhanced durability. Welds are spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum strength, while the sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All four corners feature overlapping and resistance welded construction, reinforcing the structure and enhancing shelf strength. The top surface is pre-punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Accessory attachment is facilitated by punched front and rear surfaces, and the tubular front edge offers protection against impact loads. This shelving is designed to support uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
