Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered to withstand most industrial applications while offering versatility for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, designed for fast and easy assembly and installation. The shelves feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with stamped identification on the top left corner. Class 1 shelves are made from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, showcasing roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside. Welds are spaced 3" on center, ensuring maximum strength, and the sides are triple flanged to form channels. All corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while all other sizes have punch holes on 3" centers. Additionally, front and rear surfaces are prepared for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to absorb impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
