Hallowell® Hi-Tech® free standing shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. The adjustable medium duty shelves feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped in the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside of the shelf, and welded with spacing of 3" on center to ensure maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers from left to right for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories. The tubular front edge is engineered to protect against impact loads and supports uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
