Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving line engineered for industrial applications, offering durability and versatility suited for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring robust performance and easy assembly. The shelves, classified as Class 1, feature heavy gauge cold rolled steel, with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges welded to the underside for strength. The design includes spaced welds at 3" on center and triple flanged sides forming a channel, enhancing rigidity. Lapped corners are resistance welded for added strength, while the top surface includes punch holes for shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers for sizes 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep; other sizes have punch holes at 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachments, and the tubular front edge provides protection against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 800 pounds.
