Hallowell® Hi-Tech® free standing shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. The adjustable medium duty shelves are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edge and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel featuring roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside. Welds are spaced 3 inches on center to provide maximum strength, while the sides are triple flanged to form a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2 inch centers, front and back, for dimensions of 36 inches wide by 12, 15, 18, and 24 inches deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3-inch centers. Front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge protects against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
