These single-point latch lockers are designed for maximum door strength by incorporating a welded-in full-height door stiffener, which provides a torque-free door. A continuous piano hinge ensures reliable door operation, while the no moving parts latching mechanism helps reduce life-cycle costs. The lockers feature a stainless steel recessed handle that allows the lock to sit fully-recessed into the door for added safety, minimizing vandalism and enhancing the overall appearance. Wardrobe lockers are suitable for larger personal storage, while box lockers are ideal for smaller items. The lockers are available in 3-wide units for optimal value and 1-wide units for layout completion, with options to ship fully-assembled or in a knock-down configuration. They come in two colors: parchment or Hallowell® gray. Technical specifications include a body construction of knock-down, 24 gauge cold rolled sheet steel, door construction of 16 gauge solid steel with a welded-in stiffener, continuous piano type hinges, a deep drawn stainless steel recessed handle with single-point latching, one double prong ceiling hook and two single hooks per single and double tier opening, and one double ceiling hook for triple tier lockers. Coat rods are available for single tier lockers at a nominal cost, and a hat shelf is included in single tier lockers. The lockers feature standard 6" high legs, with an option for lockers without legs available for an additional charge. Locks are not included, and padlocks are recommended.
