These single-point latch lockers are designed for maximum door strength, featuring a welded-in full-height door stiffener for a torque-free door and a continuous piano hinge that ensures reliable door operation. The lockers utilize a no moving parts latching mechanism which contributes to reducing life-cycle costs. The stainless steel recessed handle allows the lock to sit fully-recessed into the door, enhancing safety while minimizing vandalism and improving the overall appearance of the lockers. They are available in wardrobe styles for larger personal storage, as well as box styles for smaller items. Locks are not included, and ordering three-wide units is recommended for better value, while one-wide units can be used to complete your layout. The lockers can be shipped fully assembled or in a knock-down format, and are available in two colors: parchment or Hallowell® gray. The lockers are constructed from cold rolled sheet steel with a knock-down body design made of 24 gauge material. They come in single, double, and triple tier body styles, with doors made of solid 16 gauge steel featuring a welded-in door stiffener. Hinges are of the continuous piano type, and each locker is equipped with a deep drawn stainless steel recessed handle with single-point latching, protecting the finish from being damaged by padlocks. Each single and double tier opening includes one double prong ceiling hook and two single hooks, while the triple tier has one double ceiling hook. Coat rods are available for single tier lockers at an additional cost, and single tier lockers come with a hat shelf included. Standard legs are 6 inches high, with the option to have lockers without legs for an additional charge. Note that padlocks are not included in the package.
