OZ Lifting Products' spark resistant chain hoists are specifically designed for potentially explosive atmospheres, meeting the stringent EU explosion-proof standard ATEX94/9/EC and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with an explosion-proof level reaching Ex II2 GD C IIIC T135°C. These hoists are suitable for use in Zone 1 & 2 (gas) as well as Zone 21 & 22 (dust). The hoists feature a Type EX-F3 spark resistant design and a unique hand wheel that allows the hand chain to feed directly into the wheel sprocket from various angles, ensuring smooth operation without jamming. They require 20% - 35% less effort to lift heavy loads compared to competitors, making them ideal for frequent lifting and pulling applications. The fully enclosed gearing protects against contamination, while the stainless steel hooks and safety latches offer a robust connection for easy field changes. The stainless steel hand chain is durable with a non-oily finish, complemented by a DACROMET® finish load chain that is also spark resistant. Fully machined lift wheels ensure smooth and reliable operation, and the hoists can be utilized for both lifting and pulling tasks, providing versatility. Additionally, the low headroom design maximizes lift in restricted spaces, and a weatherproof load holding brake is integrated for safety in both lever and chain hoists.
