Oz Lifting Products' spark resistant chain hoists are designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, complying with the EU's explosion-proof standard ATEX94/9/EC and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with an explosion-proof rating of Ex II2 GD C IIIC T135°C. They are suitable for applications in Zone 1 & 2 (gas) and Zone 21 & 22 (dust). The hoists feature a Type Ex-F3 spark resistant design and a unique hand wheel that allows the hand chain to feed directly into the sprocket from multiple angles, enabling operation from various positions without jamming. These hoists require 20% - 35% less lifting effort than competitors, ideal for frequent lifting or pulling. They include fully enclosed gearing for protection against contamination, heavy-duty stainless steel hooks with safety latches that utilize a bolt and lock nut connection for easy field changes, and a stainless steel hand chain for durability. The DACROMET® finish load chain offers a non-oily, spark-resistant surface, while the fully machined lift wheel ensures smooth operation. The hoists are versatile for both lifting and pulling applications, feature low headroom design for maximum lift in tight spaces, and have a weatherproof load-holding brake with a protected Weston B design.
