Oz Lifting Products' spark resistant chain hoists are designed to meet stringent guidelines for potentially explosive atmospheres, adhering to the EU's explosion-proof standard ATEX 94/9/EC and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. These hoists have an explosion-proof level of Ex II2 GD C IIIC T135°C and are suitable for use in Zone 1 & 2 (gas) as well as Zone 21 & 22 (dust). The kit includes a Type EX-F3 spark resistant hoist featuring a unique hand wheel design that allows the hand chain to feed directly into the wheel sprocket from various angles, minimizing the risk of jamming while operating from different positions. These hoists require 20% - 35% less lifting effort compared to competitors, making them ideal for frequent lifting and pulling applications. The fully enclosed gearing protects against contamination and debris, while stainless steel hooks and safety latches with bolt and lock nut connections ensure durability and ease of maintenance. Additionally, the stainless steel hand chain and DACROMET® finish load chain provide a non-oily, durable finish. The fully machined lift wheel allows for smooth operation, and the hoist's versatility permits both lifting and pulling. With low headroom design, it maximizes lift capacity in confined spaces. The weatherproof load holding brake, protected by a Weston B mechanism, ensures reliability in various conditions.
