OZ Lifting Products' spark resistant chain hoists are specifically designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, adhering to the EU's explosion-proof standard ATEX 94/9/EC and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. These hoists have an explosion-proof rating reaching Ex II 2 GD C IIIC T135°C and are suitable for use in Zone 1 & 2 (Gas) as well as Zone 21 & 22 (Dust). Key features of the kit include a Type EX-F3 spark resistant design, a unique hand wheel that allows the hand chain to feed directly into the wheel sprocket from various angles, and a requirement for 20% - 35% less lifting effort compared to competitors, making them ideal for frequent lifting/pulling applications. The fully enclosed gearing protects against contamination and debris, while heavy-duty stainless steel hooks with safety latches and a durable non-oily stainless steel hand chain enhance functionality. Additionally, the DACROMET® finish load chain offers a spark resistant finish, and the fully machined lift wheel ensures smooth, long-lasting operation. The hoist is versatile, allowing for both lifting and pulling, and features a low headroom design to maximize lift in restricted spaces. Lastly, both lever and chain hoists are equipped with a weatherproof load holding brake.
