Oz Lifting Products' spark resistant chain hoists are designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, adhering to the EU's explosion-proof standard ATEX94/9/EC and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with an explosion-proof rating of Ex II2 GD C IIIC T135°C. They are applicable in Zone 1 & 2 (gas) and Zone 21 & 22 (dust). Key features include a type Ex-F3 spark resistant design, a unique hand wheel that allows the hand chain to enter the wheel sprocket from multiple directions, and minimal load lifting effort that requires 20% - 35% less effort than competitors. The hoists feature fully enclosed gearing for protection against debris, stainless steel hooks and safety latches for enhanced durability and easy field maintenance, a stainless steel hand chain that offers a non-oily finish, and a DACROMET® finish load chain that is also spark resistant. The fully machined lift wheel ensures smooth operation, and the hoists can be employed for both lifting and pulling, adding versatility. Additionally, the low headroom design maximizes lift in restricted spaces, and weatherproof load holding brakes are included in both lever and chain hoist models.
