Oz Lifting Products' spark resistant chain hoists are manufactured in compliance with the EU's explosion-proof standard ATEX94/9/EC and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The explosion-proof level can reach Ex II 2 GD C IIIC T135°C, making them suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres including Zone 1 & 2 (gas) as well as Zone 21 & 22 (dust). The kit includes a Type Ex-F3 spark resistant hoist, featuring a unique hand wheel design which allows the hand chain to feed directly into the wheel sprocket from various angles, enabling operation from the side or above the load without jamming. These hoists require 20% - 35% less lifting effort compared to competitors, making them ideal for frequent lifting and pulling applications. The fully enclosed gearing protects against contamination, while heavy-duty stainless steel hooks with safety latches facilitate easy field assembly. The stainless steel hand chain provides a durable non-oily finish, and the DACROMET® finish load chain offers a robust spark resistant coating. A fully machined lift wheel ensures smooth operation, and the hoist can be used for both lifting and pulling, enhancing versatility. With a low headroom design, these hoists maximize lift while minimizing space usage, making them suitable for restricted applications.
