They are suitable for environments classified as Zone 1 & 2 (gas) and Zone 21 & 22 (dust). Key features include a Type Ex-F3 spark resistant classification, a unique hand wheel design that allows the hand chain to feed directly into the wheel sprocket from multiple angles, requiring 20% to 35% less effort for lifting heavy loads compared to competitors, making them ideal for frequent lifting/pulling applications. The fully enclosed gearing protects against contamination and debris, while heavy-duty stainless steel hooks and safety latches enhance durability with bolt and lock nut connections for easy field adjustments. The stainless steel hand chain offers a non-oily finish, and the DACROMET® finish load chain provides a spark resistant surface. Additionally, the fully machined lift wheel ensures smooth operation, and the hoist can be utilized for both lifting and pulling, increasing versatility.
