OZ Lifting Products' spark-resistant chain hoists are designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, adhering to the EU's explosion-proof standard ATEX 94/9/EC and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with an explosion-proof level of Ex II 2 GD C IIIC T135°C. These hoists are suitable for Zone 1 & 2 (gas) and Zone 21 & 22 (dust) applications. The kit includes a type Ex-F3 spark-resistant hoist with a unique hand wheel design that allows the hand chain to smoothly feed into the wheel sprocket from various angles, enabling operation from positions to the side or above the load without jamming. The hoists require 20% - 35% less lifting effort compared to competitors, making them ideal for frequent lifting and pulling tasks, and feature fully enclosed gearing for protection against contamination and debris. Constructed with stainless steel hooks and safety latches that utilize a bolt and lock nut connection for easy field replacement, and a stainless steel hand chain for a durable, non-oily finish, these hoists also include DACROMET® finish load chains for enhanced spark resistance. The fully machined lift wheel ensures smooth operation, while the versatility of lifting or pulling adds to the tool's functionality. Designed with low headroom for maximum lift in restricted spaces, they also come with a weather-proof load holding brake for both lever and chain hoists.
