This pack of 500 polypropylene tubes features conical bottoms with a 15ml capacity, complemented by blue HDPE leak-proof screw caps. Both the tubes and caps are equipped with specially-designed flat threads that ensure a vacuum-type closure, providing leak-free performance at a pressure of more than 700mm Hg. The tubes have highly smooth hydrophobic internal surfaces that minimize wall effects, while silk-screen graduations and a frosted surface facilitate easy writing. They are autoclavable at 121°C and 15 psi for 20 minutes and are radiation sterilized. Additionally, these tubes are DNase, RNase, pyrogen, and latex-free, with a maximum RCF of 18,000 for the 15ml tubes and 20,000 for the 50ml. The amber-colored tubes are designed for light-sensitive applications, effectively blocking all light from reaching the samples.
