The kit includes 20 racks containing 25 polypropylene tubes with conical bottoms, each having a capacity of 50ml. Each tube is equipped with blue HDPE leak-proof screw caps. The centrifuge tube and rack sets provide a convenient solution for organizing and storing conical bottom tubes. The racks are constructed from expanded polystyrene (EPS) and feature holes arranged in a zigzag format for easy dispensing. The tubes have an outer diameter of 29.2mm and a height of 114.3mm. They and the caps utilize specially-designed flat threads for vacuum-type closure, ensuring a leak-free seal at a pressure exceeding 700mm Hg. The tubes possess highly smooth hydrophobic internal surfaces that minimize wall effect, while silk-screen graduations and a frosted surface facilitate easier writing. The racks are autoclavable at 121°C and 15 psi for 30 minutes and are radiation sterilized. They are DNase, RNase, pyrogen, and latex-free with a maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF) of 14,000.
