This pack of 1,000 externally threaded cryogenic vials features a 1.8ml capacity and a star-shaped base, specifically designed for the storage of samples at temperatures as low as -196°C. The vials are manufactured from polypropylene and include a large white frosted labeling area, silk screen graduations, and a leak-proof HDPE cap. Each vial has an internal U-shaped bottom, providing stability and facilitating one-handed use when placed in a support rack. The vials are DNase, RNase, and pyrogen-free, and they are radiation sterilized for enhanced safety. Please note that these vials are not recommended for use in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen but can be utilized in the vapor phase.
