The kit includes 20 racks of 25 polypropylene tubes, each with conical bottoms and a capacity of 50ml, complete with blue HDPE leak-proof screw caps. The centrifuge tube and rack sets offer a convenient solution for organizing and storing conical bottom tubes. The racks are constructed from expanded polystyrene (EPS) and feature holes arranged in a zigzag format for easy dispensing. Each tube has an outer diameter of 29.2mm and is 114.3mm tall. Both the tubes and caps are designed with specially-designed flat threads that ensure a vacuum-type closure, providing leak-free performance at pressures greater than 700mm Hg. The highly smooth hydrophobic internal surfaces minimize wall effects, while silk-screen graduations and a frosted surface facilitate easy writing. The racks are autoclavable at 121°C and 15 psi for 30 minutes and are radiation sterilized. Additionally, the tubes are DNase, RNase, pyrogen, and latex-free, with a maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF) of 14000.
