The amber color of the tubes protects light-sensitive contents, while they are constructed from high-quality virgin polypropylene, ensuring that they are RNase, DNase, and pyrogen free, making them suitable for safer use in molecular biology and other biochemical applications. Each tube features large molded-in graduations and a frosted surface to facilitate easier writing. These autoclavable tubes are capable of withstanding very low temperatures and can be used with various organic solvents. The maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF) for these tubes is 20,000.
