The surface-mounted horizontal baby changing station is constructed of polypropylene and features a unibody steel chassis for superior strength. This modern baby changing station boasts a two-tone color front and a contoured shape, enhancing its visual appeal. Thoughtful patron amenities improve the end-user experience and include Microban® product protection, a redesigned liner dispenser, and the Koala brand mark that conveys comfort to families. The dual liner cavity incorporates an internal spring tab that pushes liners forward while permitting the dispensing of one liner at a time, with each cavity accommodating 25 liners. A locking mechanism minimizes operator refills and discourages potential vandalism. Additionally, the product includes child protection straps. The bed surface is treated with Microban® antimicrobial protection that reduces odor-causing bacteria and keeps the surface cleaner between cleanings. A concealed pneumatic cylinder ensures controlled, slow opening and closing of the station bed. This baby changing station has been tested to support up to 200 lbs with minimal deflection and is designed for infants only, up to 3.5 years of age and weighing less than 50 lbs. It is ASTM and EN compliant and meets ADA requirements when properly mounted. The dimensions include a depth of 4" (101.6 mm) when closed. KB301 baby changing stations are designed to meet the applicable provisions of the 2010 ADA Standards (ADAS) and the 2009/2017 International Code Council (ICC) A117.1 standards when installed and maintained accordingly, with compliance dependent on installation in a proper location and height as outlined in the installation instructions.
