The surface-mounted horizontal baby changing station is constructed of polypropylene and features a unibody steel chassis for superior strength. This changing station showcases a modern visual aesthetic with a two-tone color front and contoured shape. Key features include Microban® product protection, a redesigned liner dispenser, and the Koala brand mark, which conveys comfort to families. The dual liner cavity has an internal spring tab that ensures forward dispensing of liners, with each cavity capable of holding 25 liners. A locking mechanism minimizes operator refills and discourages vandalism, while child protection straps are included for added safety. The bed surface is treated with Microban® antimicrobial product protection to reduce odor-causing bacteria and maintain cleanliness. A concealed pneumatic cylinder provides controlled, slow opening and closing of the changing station bed, which has been tested to support up to 200 lbs with minimal deflection. This product is designed exclusively for infants, up to 3.5 years of age, and weighing less than 50 lbs. It is compliant with ASTM and EN standards, as well as the ADA requirements when properly mounted. The depth of the unit when closed is 4" (101.6 mm). The KB301 baby changing stations are specifically designed to meet the applicable provisions of the 2010 ADA Standards (ADAS) and the 2009/2017 International Code Council (ICC) A117.1 standards, contingent upon proper installation and maintenance in a compliant location and height as per installation instructions.
