The AIMS Power™ battery monitor is a high-precision meter designed to monitor the status of your battery through its display or a smartphone application. It utilizes a current shunt to measure both discharge and recharge currents, calculating the ampere-hours (Ah) to provide accurate data. This device offers high-precision voltage measurements displayed in real-time by employing a field-installed sense wire. Compatible with various battery types, including lithium-ion, lead-acid, and nickel-metal hydride batteries, the remote battery monitor supports a maximum current of up to 500A and can accommodate battery voltages ranging from 8V to 80V. The device records multiple parameters, including battery voltage, battery current, battery state of charge (SOC), total ampere-hour capacity, and offers insight into parasitic currents: 14mA for active, 0.8mA for standby, and 80µA for sleep mode. The kit includes a current shunt, 1m of shielded wire, a display, a butterfly nut, a 1m sense wire (22AWG), and a square bezel.
