The AIMS Solar Quick Disconnect Switch provides a safe and flexible solution for solar system maintenance, making it ideal for applications such as cabins or vacation homes where continuous solar power is not required. This quick disconnect switch is rated for 1200V with a single 32 amp circuit, compatible with both small and large off-grid or grid-tied solar systems. It allows for rapid disconnection of DC power from the solar array to the charge controller, batteries, and/or inverter. Key features include an isolated safe-lock with three rotational positions to minimize tampering, a single pull double throw configuration ensuring the disconnection of load circuits and suppression of the arc in under 5 milliseconds, and a lockout option. The switch is designed for outdoor use, is non-corrosive, and waterproof, with input and output connections that are MC4 compatible for straightforward setup and installation. It is certified by TUV, SAA, and CE, and is IP rated while also being RoHS compliant. The operational temperature range is from -40 degrees C to 70 degrees C, and the product comes with a 10-year warranty.
