The AIMS 36V and 48V AC 25/18.5-amp converter/battery charger is designed for versatility and high charging capacity, catering to a variety of applications with its broad AC input range of 70VAC to 145VAC. This unit features a selectable dip switch for 36VDC or 48VDC battery banks and is compatible with generators and shore power, effectively charging batteries including open lead acid, AGM, gel, and LiFePO4. It offers a large charging capacity design, providing 25 amps for 36VDC and 18.75 amps for 48VDC, enabling it to charge a 100 amp hour battery to 90% in under an hour. The three-stage smart charger employs a variable charging voltage algorithm, optimizing battery life through bulk, absorb, and float stages. It includes four pre-programmed charging algorithms accessible via dip switches, adjustable charge current control for smaller batteries, and comprehensive protections against reverse polarity, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, and short circuits. The high AC to DC conversion efficiency exceeds 80%, and it features thermal and load-based fan operation. The unit comes with a battery temperature sensor port (sensor not included) and a 4ft AC input cord, along with a one-year warranty.
