The Quincy QP series is engineered for demanding 175 psi applications where traditional splash lubrication is inadequate. This heavy-duty, cast-iron compressor utilizes an oil pump for pressure lubrication to the crankshaft, bearings, and connecting rod, extending to the wrist pins, thereby facilitating smoother and more continuous operation. The QP series features a lubricated two-stage compressor, high-performance positive displacement oil pump, two-piece aluminum connecting rods, and an intercooler unit with fin and tube construction. It also includes an automotive-style filter, electric models with a pressure switch, and single-source duplex control panels for duplex units. Additionally, the design incorporates a manual ball valve tank drain, an enclosed belt guard compliant with OSHA standards, and CSA and UL compliant electrical components. The range consists of three models: the standard Pro unit, the professional-grade Pro+ unit, and the fully-loaded Max unit, all of which are capable of adding value across various industries such as automotive, manufacturing, mining, energy exploration, and food and beverage. The compressor operates effectively in situations requiring an intermittent source of compressed air, with specifications including 5-15 HP and a maximum of 175 PSIG.
