The Quincy QP series is engineered for demanding 175 PSI applications, employing a heavy-duty cast-iron compressor that features an advanced oil pump for pressure lubrication, ensuring optimal performance for the crankshaft, bearings, and connecting rod up to the wrist pins. This reciprocating air compressor operates via positive displacement, where a piston compresses air into a storage tank, making it suitable for various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, mining, energy exploration, and food and beverage. The series offers three configurations: the standard Pro unit, the professional Pro+ unit, and the fully-loaded Max unit. Key features include a lubricated two-stage compressor, high-performance positive displacement oil pump, two-piece aluminum connecting rods, an intercooler unit with fin and tube construction, automotive-style filter, pressure switch for electric models, single-source duplex control panels for duplex units, manual ball valve tank drain, and an enclosed belt guard complying with OSHA standards.
