The Quincy QP™ series is designed for demanding 175 psi applications where traditional splash lubrication is insufficient. This heavy-duty, cast-iron compressor features an advanced oil pump for pressure lubrication to the crankshaft, bearings, and connecting rod up to the wrist pins, facilitating smoother and more continuous operation. The QP™ series, consisting of reciprocating compressors, operates via positive displacement, compressing air into a storage tank. Key specifications include a performance rating of 22.6 CFM at 175 psi and a power range of 5-15 HP with a maximum pressure of 175 psig. The compressors feature a cast-iron crankcase, cylinder, and flywheel, an oil filter and pressure gauge, an automotive-style inlet filter/silencer, a lubricated two-stage compressor with a high-performance positive displacement oil pump, two-piece aluminum connecting rods, and an inter-cooler unit with fin and tube construction. Electric models come equipped with a pressure switch, while duplex units include single-source duplex control panels. Additional attributes include a manual ball valve tank drain, ASME-coded relief valves in the interstage, discharge line, and receiver tank, and an enclosed belt guard that complies with OSHA standards. The electrical components are CSA and UL compliant. With a 1-year standard warranty and the option for an extended warranty available with the purchase of EWK 8, the QP™ series is suitable for various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, mining, energy exploration, and food and beverage, especially in applications requiring an intermittent source of compressed air. Max units are "fully loaded" and feature an air-cooled after cooler.
