The Quincy QP™ series is designed for tougher 175 PSI applications where traditional splash lubrication is inadequate. This heavy-duty, cast-iron compressor features an oil pump for pressure lubrication to the crankshaft, bearings, and connecting rod up to the wrist pins, resulting in smoother, more continuous operation. The series includes reciprocating compressors that operate via positive displacement, efficiently compressing air into a storage tank. Key specifications include a power range of 5-15 HP, a maximum pressure of 175 PSIG, and performance output of 22.6 CFM at 175 PSI. The compressors are equipped with a cast-iron crankcase, cylinder, and flywheel, an automotive-style inlet filter/silencer, an oil filter and pressure gauge, and a manual ball valve tank drain. Additionally, they feature a lubricated two-stage compressor, high-performance positive displacement oil pump, two-piece aluminum connecting rods, and an intercooler unit with fin and tube construction. The system has ASME-coded relief valves in the interstage, discharge line, and receiver tank, and an enclosed belt guard that complies with OSHA standards. Electric models come with a pressure switch, while duplex units include single-source duplex control panels. The electrical components are CSA and UL compliant. The Quincy QP™ series is suitable for various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, mining, energy exploration, and food and beverage, offering reliable performance for intermittent compressed air applications. The product comes with a standard one-year warranty, with an extended warranty available upon purchase of EWK 8. The compressors also feature fully loaded units and an air-cooled after cooler.
