The Quincy QP™ series is engineered for demanding 175 PSI applications requiring superior performance compared to traditional splash lubrication systems. This heavy-duty, cast-iron compressor features an advanced oil pump that provides pressure lubrication to the crankshaft, bearings, and connecting rod up to the wrist pins, ensuring smoother and more continuous operation. The QP™ series includes reciprocating compressors capable of handling challenging compressed air demands and is characterized by specifications such as 17.2 CFM @ 175 PSI, a maximum power range of 5-15 HP, and a maximum pressure of 175 PSIG. Key features include a cast-iron crankcase, cylinder, and flywheel, an oil filter and pressure gauge, automotive-style inlet filter/silencer, lubricated two-stage compressor, high-performance positive displacement oil pump, two-piece aluminum connecting rods, inter-cooler unit with fin and tube construction, and an automotive-style filter. Electric models are equipped with a pressure switch, while duplex units offer single-source duplex control panels. Additional safety features comprise ASME-coded relief valves located in the interstage, discharge line, and receiver tank, as well as an enclosed belt guard that complies with OSHA standards. The unit also boasts CSA and UL compliant electrical components. Designed for versatility across multiple industries, including automotive, manufacturing, mining, energy exploration, and food and beverage, the Quincy QP™ series is particularly effective in applications requiring an intermittent source of compressed air. It comes with a standard 1-year warranty, with the option for an extended warranty available upon purchase of EWK 8. The max unit includes fully loaded configurations and an air-cooled after cooler.
