The Quincy QP™ series is engineered for demanding 175 PSI applications where traditional splash lubrication falls short. This heavy-duty, cast-iron air compressor features an advanced pressure lubrication system that ensures smooth operation by delivering oil to the crankshaft, bearings, and connecting rods up to the wrist pins. This reciprocating air compressor operates through positive displacement, compressing air into a storage tank. The series includes models with a power range of 5-15 HP and a maximum pressure of 175 PSIG, with specifications such as a cast-iron crankcase, cylinder, and flywheel. Key features include an oil filter, pressure gauge, automotive-style inlet filter/silencer, a lubricated two-stage compressor, high-performance positive displacement oil pump, two-piece aluminum connecting rods, and an inter-cooler unit built with fin and tube construction. Electric models come with a pressure switch, and duplex units feature single-source duplex control panels. Additional safety components include ASME-coded relief valves in the interstage, discharge line, and receiver tank, along with an enclosed belt guard that complies with OSHA standards. The electrical components meet CSA and UL compliance. Reciprocating air compressors from the QP™ series are ideal for various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, mining, energy exploration, and food and beverage, particularly where intermittent sources of compressed air are needed. A 1-year standard warranty, with an option for extended coverage upon the purchase of EWK 8, is also available. The max unit includes "fully loaded" configurations and an air-cooled after cooler.
