The Morse® Tilt-to-Load Drum Rotator is designed to tumble a drum "corner-over-corner" for efficient mixing of contents, accommodating various sized drums weighing up to 800 lb (363 kg) at speeds of 5 to 20 RPM. This drum tumbler operates using a single-phase 60Hz motor, with motor controls sold separately. The system enables easy, floor-level loading of upright drums, and employs a hydraulic tilting action to position the drum for rotation, with a second valve for controlling the hydraulic motor that drives the rotation. The design minimizes time, labor, and operating costs by streamlining the loading and unloading process. Compliance with OSHA requirements is essential, as the rotator must be installed with an enclosure featuring a safety interlock to ensure automatic shutoff when the enclosure door is opened, in accordance with OSHA subpart O.1910.212(a)(4) standards. The machine is compatible with plastic, steel, or fiber drums and promotes safer mixing by preventing spills, splashes, and contamination.
