Guard enclosures for Morse® Tilt-To-Load drum tumblers are designed with a safety interlock feature that automatically shuts off the drum tumbler when the gate is opened. To operate, simply open the enclosure gate, place your drum onto the drum tumbler, and then close the gate. This kit is specifically for installation with a single-phase electric (non-explosion proof) Morse® 310 series drum tumbler and includes connections only for air-powered models. The Morse® control packages provide the necessary controls and connections for AC models, featuring a low-voltage transformer and wire terminals to connect the external safety interlock switch of the guard enclosure kits. Compliance with OSHA regulations is assured when installed properly, as the guard enclosure with safety interlock ensures that the rotator automatically turns off when the enclosure door is opened. The enclosure features outside post-to-post dimensions of L88" x W52" x H63-1/4" (224 x 132 x 161 cm), a 4-foot (121-7/8 cm) wide door opening, and a 3-1/4" (8-1/4 cm) space under the gate and side panels, along with a gate switch.
