The Solaira™ Alpha Series is a 4500 watt, 240V, 18.8A electric radiant heater featuring an ultra-low glare candle emitter lamp and an antique grey (RAL 9007) epoxy powder-coated, extruded aircraft aluminum housing. It comes with aluminum wall mount brackets and stainless steel hardware that includes safety grills. Designed with rounded clean architectural infrastructure grade fixtures, the heaters are IP55 weatherproof rated, making them suitable for completely exposed outdoor or indoor applications. Engineered for wall and ceiling suspended installations, additional brackets or chains are required for these applications. The Alpha Series utilizes filtered low glare Solaira S-Wave emitter technology, converting 92% (85% after reflector) of consumed energy into directional, radiant heat, which is virtually unaffected by wind and achieves full output in less than 1 second. This technology is particularly effective in difficult to heat, breezy environments. The heaters are certified by CCSAUS (UL2021 and CSA22.2) and offer modular multi-heater mount options to increase load capacity by 2 and 3 times with variable direction options (optional brackets required). Available in standard colors, the Alpha Series heaters can also be custom ordered to match specified RAL colors and are offered in various wattages, including 1,500 watt, 2,000 watt, 3,000 watt, 4,000 watt, 4,500 watt, and 6,000 watt options, all in 240V.
