The Starrett® 124 solid-rod inside micrometer sets are designed for measuring inside diameters of cylinders and rings, as well as parallel surfaces, offering a light and user-friendly solution. The sets include a range of 2-12", with a graduation of .001", and come equipped with 10 measuring rods housed in a protective case. Each solid measuring rod features a shoulder that is accurately set and locked in the micrometer head, ensuring precise measurements. Rod diameters are approximately 6mm (1/4") for the A and B sizes, and 8.5mm (11/32") for the C size. The rods are marked with their respective lengths and are adjustable for length, while hardened and ground anvils provide durability. The micrometers have quick-reading figures for ease of use, and an optional 6-1/2" (165mm) long handle (model 124H) is available. The kit is certified and compliant with relevant standards, ensuring reliable performance in professional settings.
