Traffic signs safely direct and regulate the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in and around parking areas, dock areas, and roadways, utilizing economical prismatic sheeting that provides better day and nighttime brightness than traditional beaded engineer-grade sheeting. This micro-prismatic retro reflective sheeting is suitable for commercial sign applications and non-critical traffic control signs regulated by the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and meets ASTM D 4956 Type I. The durable .080" aluminum signs are rust-resistant and offer enhanced visibility in low-light conditions, being three times brighter than engineer-grade prismatic reflective materials. The UV-resistant inks prevent fading from prolonged outdoor exposure, and the finishing includes a clear UV protective overcoat along with post mount holes. The signs are designed with easy-to-understand graphics and comply with MUTCD regulations for traffic signs on public roads, meeting ASTM D 4956 Type III, Type IV, and Type X standards. The surface-printed prismatic sheeting, recognized by the Federal Highway Administration, is bonded to aluminum and can withstand extreme temperatures, with a service temperature range of -40° to 250° F. The signs feature rounded corners and are supplied with top and bottom center holes for post or fence mounting, and MUTCD Section 9B-04 standards are met. When applicable, bike lane signs and plaques should be placed in advance of the bicycle lane's upstream end, at the downstream end, and at periodic intervals along the lane, as the MUTCD specifies that traffic signs and pavement markings on all public roads are to be high-intensity prismatic.
