Traffic signs safely direct and regulate the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in and around parking areas, dock areas, and roadways. The kit includes durable .080" aluminum signs that will not rust, featuring engineer-grade prismatic (EGP) reflective surfaces that provide enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. This micro-prismatic retro reflective sheeting, recommended for commercial sign applications and non-critical traffic control signs, meets ASTM D 4956 Type I standards and is recognized by the Federal Highway Administration. The UV-resistant inks prevent fading from long-term outdoor exposure, and the signs are protected by Sign Muscle® to guard against harsh abuse and graffiti. The graphics ensure that messages are easy to understand, with finishing features such as rounded corners and center post-mount holes. The reflective sheeting withstands extreme temperatures, with a service temperature range of -40° to 250° F, making it an excellent choice for regulatory, warning, and work zone signs. It meets the standards of MUTCD Section 2B.12, and the shared-use path restriction (R9-7) sign may be installed to supplement solid white pavement marking lines on shared facilities for pedestrians and bicyclists. The MUTCD specifies that traffic signs and pavement markings on all roads open to public traffic are to be high-intensity prismatic.
